Job summary

JOST International is seeking a Welder responsible for performing welding duties across production areas. The role reports to the Welding Supervisor and emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key duties include pulling and welding parts to print, labeling products correctly, and operating per work instructions. MIG welding experience is preferred; one year of experience or welding classes are desirable, and candidates must pass the JOST Welder Qualification

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience preferred, semi-automatic MIG welding a plus.
• One-year on the job experience or welding classes (Trade School) desired.
• Pass JOST Welder Qualification Test.
• Ability to work and communicate accurately and factual as an effective team member with fellow employees, leadmen and supervision.
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products.
• Comply with quality, environmental, safety and JOST company policies and procedures.

WELDER

Need 1st and 2nd Shift Welders

Introduction

This position reports to

Welding Supervisor.

It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.

WELDER - Performs duties associated with all areas of welding parts for production.

Areas Of Responsibility

Include, but are not limited to:

• Pull and weld parts to print or specifications.
• Label products correctly.
• Operate in compliance with Basic Processes and Work Instructions.
• Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned, and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

Physical Requirements

Work is generally performed in a production plant 100% of time

While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly; stand, walk, reach, bend, twist and occasionally will be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance.
