Koch Finishing Systems in Evansville, IN is hiring an Entry-Level Welder/Fabricator for a full-time day shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM). Training provided; welding certification (AWS, ASME, NCCER, or equivalent) required to start.

Onsite interviews scheduled to assess candidate readiness and safety awareness. Starting pay ranges from $22.44 to $33.03 per hour, with weekly pay and benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

• Welding certificate from a technical school, community college, or high school CTE program, OR
• AWS, ASME, NCCER, or equivalent welding certification

Responsibilities

• Assemble and weld ductwork, doors, tanks, piping, ovens, curtain coaters, and heaters
• Set up and operate saws, drill presses, ironworkers, shears, punches, rollers, and benders
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication specifications
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy

What You'll Do

• Assemble and weld ductwork, doors, tanks, piping, ovens, curtain coaters, and heaters
• Set up and operate saws, drill presses, ironworkers, shears, punches, rollers, and benders
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication specifications
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl for the duration of the shift
• Ability to wear required PPE (safety glasses, welding helmet/gloves, steel-toe boots) for the full shift
• Ability to work safely around moving equipment, machinery, and welding operations in a manufacturing environment

Qualifications Required

• AWS, ASME, NCCER, or equivalent welding certification

Preferred Experience

• Prior MIG/TIG welding or fabrication experience
• Reading a tape measure accurately
• Prior experience in a manufacturing, production, or factory environment
