Job description

Join to apply for the Welder Fabricator role at Ikoniq.

We are looking to add more welders to our growing team! Our welding team is key to building concession framing and assemblies.

1. Perform welding, grinding, and plasma cutting tasks according to project specifications/blueprints.
2. Use MIG and TIG welding processes to fabricate weldments.
3. Rig and assemble fabricated components to ensure proper fit and alignment.
4. Follow codes and standards to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
5. Utilize magnetic drill, metal chop saws, grinders, and hand drills to complete tasks.

Experience needed:

1. Proven experience in fabricating and welding steel and aluminum, preferably in a manufacturing or construction setting.
2. Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and plasma cutting techniques.
3. Familiarity with codes and standards related to fabrication and welding processes.
4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
5. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Applicants will be scheduled to perform a weld test and must provide their own helmet, welpers, and gloves. A good work ethic and willingness to work overtime are required. Shifts are 8+ hours, Monday through Friday, with some weekends possible if overtime is needed. Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus.
