Everus Construction Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled metal fabricator to fabricate and assemble metal products, trailers, and framework. The role involves layout, cutting, fitting, welding, and assembling components to precise specifications.

Responsibilities include operating hem saws and drill presses, developing layouts, constructing templates, and ensuring conformance to drawings. Candidates should have a GED or high school diploma and 1–3 years of related experience with a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must pass a 3G Welding Test.
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Lays out and marks reference points onto components using a tape measure.
• Operates machines such as hem saws and drill press to cut and shape components to specified dimensions.
• Fits and assembles components.
• Welds components together with a MIG welder using flux core wire.
• Develops layout and plans sequence of operations.
• Positions, aligns, fits and welds together parts.
• Designs and constructs templates and fixtures.
• Verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications.
• Fabricates and assembles sheet metal products.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
• Assembles parts by bolting.
• Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping and reassembling parts.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Fabricates and assembles metal products, equipment and machinery, such as trailers and special framework by performing the following duties.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must pass a 3G Welding Test.
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Use of power and hand tools, welding and cutting equipment.
• Considerable knowledge of methods, materials, and tools used in metal fabrication familiar with fabrication.
• Awareness of all safety regulations for both welding industry as well as OSHA safety regulations.
