The role entails fabricating and welding metal components to engineering specifications, operating equipment, and ensuring quality in all welds. Job Overview:
The Welder is responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to engineering specifications and blueprints. This role supports production by ensuring high-quality welds on structural and mechanical assemblies using MIG and/or TIG welding techniques.
Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret CAD drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements.
• Fabrication and welding of steel angle, tube and plates to specification as well as plasma and flame cutting.
• Operating other equipment such as fork lifts, saws and drills
• Welding piping, structural steel and other weldments
• Related material handling and completion of documentation.
Requirements:
• 1+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Basic math and tape measurement skills.
Core Competencies:
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate material handling equipment.
Preferences:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a welding skills test.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
This position will be based at our site in Blandon, PA no travel.
