Job summary

Ernest-Spencer, Inc. in Topeka, KS, seeks an Experienced Welder for the 1st shift (6:00am–2:30pm). The role involves welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless projects with layout and fitting responsibilities. A pre-employment test and drug screen are required, with wage increases at probation and annual evaluations.

Qualifications

Skills/Qualifications

• Structural welding experience
• Experience welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel projects
• Layout and fitting experience
• Proficient in blueprint reading
• Experience working with overhead cranes
• Must be able to pass company welding test
• Must be able to read blue prints
• Must be able to use measuring instruments, i.e. measuring tape, level, etc.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
• Must be able to work safely and follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and lifting evaluation

1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm (Monday-Friday) - OT as determined by production demands
