Job summary

Valmont Industries is seeking an entry-level welder for the 3rd shift, Sundays through Thursday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Compensation is $23.90 per hour plus a $2 shift differential.

We provide paid hands-on training in MIG welding, a comprehensive Total Wellbeing benefits package, and opportunities for long-term career advancement. As an entry-level welder, you will learn to weld structural steel components, read basic blueprints, inspect weld quality, and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Basic familiarity with hand tools or power tools is preferred.
  • Interest in welding or fabrication work is required.
  • No prior welding experience is needed—training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on structural steel components.
  • Read basic blueprints and work instructions.
