LAUKOA is seeking a highly experienced Welder to support fabrication, repair, installation, and RDT&E activities at Tyndall Air Force Base. LAUKOA is seeking a highly experienced Welder to support fabrication, repair, installation, and research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) activities at Tyndall Air Force Base. The Welder plans and executes complex welding and metal-fabrication assignments from technical drawings, specifications, and work orders; produces high-integrity welds on a wide range of metals and alloys; and fabricates, repairs, and installs structures, components, equipment, and test articles. This hands‑on role requires advanced proficiency across multiple welding processes, precision layout and shop mathematics, use of specialized welding and sheet‑metal equipment, and on‑site evaluation of structural damage and repair requirements. The Welder will also maintain accurate work‑order documentation and provide qualified backup support to machining and sheet‑metal fabrication operations as needed.
