Patriot Erectors is a full-service, AISC Certified Steel Fabricator and AISC Advanced Steel Erector.

We’re hiring structural and miscellaneous steel fabricators to join our dynamic and growth-oriented team.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Use pre-nested cut cards and documentation to convert raw steel shapes into semi-finished parts. Verify information such as beam type, size, weight, cut length, and heat number before cutting.

Essential Job Functions
  • Verify material correctness before cutting
  • Work with pre-nested cut sheets
  • Match descriptions and lengths with materials, using tape measures
  • Use manual or CNC measuring tools
  • Mark and identify steel per job requirements
  • Stack and stage materials safely
  • Understand, interpret, and edit G-code programming
  • Use inserts, fixtures, and tooling properly
  • Ensure inserts are in working condition and materials are cut square
  • Mark drops and return to stock
  • Load/unload machines with overhead crane
  • Perform daily maintenance on CNC machinery
  • Follow quality policies and regulations
  • Differentiate material types (WF, TS, CH, L)
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints preferred
  • 12+ months CNC machine operation experience (e.g., Peddinghaus FDB 2500)
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn
  • Good communication skills
  • Overhead crane operation experience helpful
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
