Qualifications

• 3-5 years of fabrication and stainless steel welding experience.
• Ability to pass 6G ASME pipe TIG test and 2G/3G Pulsed MIG tests.
• Proficient with blueprints, tape measures, and weld symbols.
• ASME shop experience preferred; welding certification preferred but not required.
• Strong teamwork and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality TIG and Pulsed MIG welds with minimal defects.
• Layout and fabricate tank components including heads and shells.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and measurements.
• Use weld gauges and complete weld, heat code, and traveler documentation.
• Operate hand tools, overhead cranes, and equipment safely.
• Work in confined spaces as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Support team members and assist with additional tasks as assigned.

Class A Welder / Fabricator Company: Watson Custom Tanks
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Shift: Monday-Thursday 7am-5:30pm
Pay: $28-30/hr

This role focuses on high-quality stainless steel tank fabrication using TIG and Pulsed MIG welding. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in craftsmanship and works well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality TIG and Pulsed MIG welds with minimal defects
• Layout and fabricate tank components including heads and shells
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and measurements
• Use weld gauges and complete weld, heat code, and traveler documentation
• Operate hand tools, overhead cranes, and equipment safely
• Work in confined spaces as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Support team members and assist with additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of fabrication and stainless steel welding experience

• Strong fabrication skills and mechanical aptitude
• Proficient with blueprints, tape measures, and weld symbols
• ASME shop experience preferred
• Welding certification preferred; high school diploma preferred, not required
