As a Carbon Welder, you will be responsible for executing high-quality welds specifically on carbon steel materials using a variety of manual welding processes. Your expertise will ensure complete penetration and fusion, prevent distortion, and meet precise specifications for dimension, tolerance, and strength in all welding positions.
Education: None
Experience: Experience performing welding on carbon steel materials using multiple welding processes
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies: Knowledge of oxy-acetylene and electric arc welding processes; Ability to weld in all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead); Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications; Understanding of welding materials, electrodes, and filler rods; Strong attention to detail and quality standards; Ability to work in confined or challenging environments; Problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with team members
