Principal Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform welding operations on brewery fittings, pipe, coil, tubing, stop cocks, valves, etc.
  • Weld metal alloys including stainless steel, copper, brass, and nickel.
  • Position components in fit-up jigs and fixtures, use turning rigs, or clamp for welding, maintaining dimensions.
  • Assist with setups, proper heat, tips, penetration, and variations under supervision.
  • Perform soldering or brazing on pipe or tube sections.
  • Work from drawings and specifications.
  • Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, rulers, and scales.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Four years of vocational or high school education plus on-the-job training.
  • Two to three years of relevant experience.
Physical/Sensory Demands
  • Daily activities may include sitting, bending, standing, crouching, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
