Job summary

Door Engineering, a Senneca Brand, seeks welders for our Mankato facility. This role emphasizes welding while meeting quality and production standards, with a weekend shift from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

on Friday through Sunday, including paid meal breaks and a 20% differential. Responsibilities include reviewing blueprints, conducting quality checks, documenting welding operations, and collaborating with production teams to meet schedules while adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years welding or fabrication experience preferred.
  • D1 certification - or ability to pass test - preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Experience using measuring tools (tape measures, squares, gauges).
  • Ability to lift 25–50 pounds frequently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review blueprints, drawings, and project specifications prior to production.
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the welding process.
  • Maintain proper documentation related to welding operations and production output.
  • Work closely with production teams and leadership to meet manufacturing schedules.

  • Assist in improving robotic welding processes and efficiencies when possible.

This role is responsible for welding while ensuring quality and production standards are met.

Weekend Shift: 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Paid Meal Breaks & Differential 20%
