Summary of Job

Performs tasks such as cutting, fit-up, welding, grinding, and painting to produce welded pipe and structural steel assemblies according to drawings and specifications.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
• At least four (4) years of related experience and/or training required

Skills and Abilities

• Proper and safe use of related tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of welding quality standards and ability to inspect welds
• Proficiency with measuring, locating, and testing tools
• Effective communication skills, both individually and in a team
