An established industry player is seeking skilled welders to join their dynamic team. This role involves utilizing advanced metal forming and joining techniques to meet the fabrication needs of the company and its clients. As a welder, you will work primarily on the production floor, applying your expertise in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. Job Summary:
Requires the use of metal forming and material joining techniques in order to fulfill the welding/fabrication requirements of Allegheny Bradford, its customers and governing bodies.
Hourly position on 2nd shift. 2nd shift is M-Th 3:30pm – 2:00am (training will be on your hired shift). Trainings may occur on 1st shift. Position requires the ability to work over-time, which may include arriving early or working on normally scheduled days off.

Tools and Technology Skills:
Regular use of hand and power tools including but not limited to: grinders, saws, torches, welding units, drill presses, flame-cutting equipment, forklifts, hydraulic lifts, overhead cranes, gas welders, metal benders, shears, ladders, scaffolding, gauges, levels, measurement equipment, welding tips, and pipe cutters.
A Welder works on the production floor and must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch and climb. You must also be able to reach above and below your shoulder and have fine finger manipulation. You must be able to work in an environment that is considered dusty and dirty (metal dust).
Starting rate based on knowledge, skills, and abilities. Plus .50¢ shift differential.
