Job summary

Barnes Aerospace MRO division seeks a TIG Welder in Ohio to join our production team. You will weld on thin aerospace components, read drawings, and follow process instructions to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of TIG welding experience, including exotic metals, and can work from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Friday through Sunday, with FAA/DOT safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of TIG welding experience, preferably in Aerospace assembly.
• Experience welding exotic metals.
• Able to read and interpret operation sheets and follow complex instructions.
• Mathematical skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Complete necessary paperwork to track parts through process.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience TIG welding in a production or repair shop position, preferably in Aerospace assembly.
• Experience welding exotic metals.
• Must be able to read and interpret operation sheets and follow complex instructions and/or directions.
• Able to use advanced math to add, subtract, multiply or divide and work with fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Able to communicate verbally and / or in writing in English with other employees, team members and supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs occasionally without restrictions.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training is highly preferred.
