Job summary

The Raymond Corporation in Muscatine, IA is seeking a Welder for the 3rd shift to weld custom designed products and collaborate with a dynamic team. You will perform MIG welding, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality through precision checks in a hands-on, safety-first environment.

The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work through tight tolerances with a positive, team-oriented mindset. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• One or more years of production MIG welding experience.
• High School Diploma, GED or vocational training is preferred.
• High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment, arc gouging equipment, oxy-fuel torches, jigs, holding fixtures, measuring instruments, PC and hand tools.
• Follow work orders and safety procedures in fabrication of production parts and sub-weldments through general arc welding (primarily MIG).
• Clean and grind your own work prior to next operation.
• Conduct visual and dimensional checks of own work.
• Use overhead cranes and lift trucks to move heavy materials.
• Maintain work area, equipment, and supplies in a neat, organized manner.

Welder - 3rd Shift!

The Role

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Welder who brings energy and expertise to the table. In this role, you’ll be welding custom designed products for a wide range of customers, while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating welding equipment, arc gouging equipment, oxy-fuel torches, jigs, holding fixtures, measuring instruments, personal computer (PC) and hand tools.
• Follows specific work orders and safety procedures in the fabrication of production parts and a wide variety of sub-weldments through general arc welding (primarily "MIG" welding). Work is generally fixtured, but occasional hand set up is required.
• Required to clean and or grind your own work prior to next operation.
• Conducting visual and dimensional checks of own work.
• Uses overhead cranes and lift trucks to move heavy materials.
• Maintains work area, equipment, and supplies in neat, organized manner.

What We’re Looking For

What Sets You Apart

• Familiarity with weld processes and equipment (fixtures, gages, etc).
• Blueprint reading skills.

Where And When You’ll Work

• This is an in-person role located at our Muscatine, IA facility - ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
• Core work hours are 8:30pm - 5:00am.

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:

Wage - $24.50 per hour + $1.50 per hour shift premium.

Relocation: This role may be eligible for relocation assistance.
