Job summary

The Raymond Corporation in Muscatine, IA seeks a Warehouse Team Leader to supervise daily warehouse activities, lead a diverse team, and support production line needs using kaizen approaches andTPS principles.

Ideal candidates bring forklift experience, ATL training in the first year, and a collaborative mindset to continuously improve processes and safety. This is an in-person role with strong emphasis on teamwork and quality.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift operation experience.
• Successful completion of the company’s ATL curriculum program in the first year of being in the position.

Responsibilities

• Identify continuous improvement (kaizen) opportunities and recommend solutions; ensure approved kaizens are implemented.
• Lead approved kaizen activities and support TPS processes.
• Participate in quality control circles and jishuken activities.
• Assign and monitor daily work to ensure goals are met; report results to the Supervisor/Manager.
• Prioritize quality and provide employees with feedback on processes, procedures, and assignments.
• Use problem-solving techniques to address issues and escalate concerns as needed.
• Monitor employee morale and maintain a positive work environment.
• Provide on-the-job training to ensure employees perform effectively.
• Facilitate cross-training to build skills and flexibility in daily work.
• Promote a safe work environment and support 5S and STOP programs.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance for machines, equipment, and facilities.
• Monitor daily production schedules and ensure parts/orders are delivered on time.
• Perform similar duties as department associates when needed.
• Complete other projects as assigned.

The Role

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Team Leader who brings enthusiasm and expertise to the table. In this position, you’ll oversee, lead and collaborate with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals in a warehouse environment to help support the production line needs. What You’ll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For

What Sets You Apart

• Pervious leadership experience - strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Wavetrak (WMS), including dispatching orders - strongly preferred.
• Associate’s degree in a related field.

Where And When You’ll Work

• This is an in-person role located at our “M5” Muscatine, IA facility—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
• Core working hours are 6:00am - 2:30pm. Overtime is likely based on business needs; however, it is not guaranteed.

Total Compensation & Benefits Package Will Look Like

Wage - $22.50/hour + $2.00/hour leadership premium

Relocation: This role may be eligible for relocation assistance.
