Welder - 2nd Shift - O'Neal Manufacturing Services

Join us to apply for the Welder - 2nd Shift - O'Neal Manufacturing Services role at O'Neal Manufacturing Services.

Job Details

Location: Burlington, KY

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday to Thursday 4:00PM - 2:30AM, voluntary overtime on Fridays with $2.00 shift premium.

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and repair metal and weldable materials using Handheld Laser Welding and advanced equipment.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Perform laser welding on stainless steel sheets and aluminum cabinets.
  • Inspect welds for structural integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Prepare materials and set up for welding devices or robots.
  • Support safety and quality programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and measuring devices.
  • Attention to detail and high-quality work ethic.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant training or apprenticeship is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
  • Stand, bend, twist, and stoop for prolonged periods.
  • Visual acuity including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
  • Coordination for precise hand movements.
  • Environmental conditions include exposure to heat, noise, chemicals, fumes, and oils.
