What You Can Expect
  • Starting pay at $28.43/hr, with 2nd & 3rd shift premiums of $2.00/hr
  • Merit increases at 6 months, 12 months, and annually

Shift Overview
  • Primarily 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday, four 10-hour days), with some 3rd shift positions
  • Overtime may be required
Job Summary

The Welder assembles parts, sets up welding processes, reads blueprints, and maintains a safe, clean work environment.

Essential Functions
  • Communicate for safety
  • Follow instructions and work from diagrams and blueprints
  • Set up parts, weld sheet metal, operate tools, and lift heavy parts
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness standards
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience or a high school diploma
  • Previous welding experience and ability to obtain a welding certificate
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or Certified Welder
  • Experience with Pierce Manufacturing welding
Key Abilities
  • Physical ability to perform tasks, including lifting up to 80 pounds
  • Strong interpersonal skills, safety awareness, and attention to detail
