Atlas Copco North America LLC is seeking a Welder for our Voorheesville, NY facility to support the assembly of industrial compressor packages. You will perform TIG and MIG welding and fabricate components to exact engineering specifications, ensuring high quality, safety, and precision.

The role requires reading shop drawings, fabricating pipes and base assemblies, and inspecting welds to meet dimensional requirements. Second shift onsite with competitive pay and benefits await.

Qualifikationen

• Certification in Welding and at least one year of experience as a welder.
• Experience with pipe fitting and fabrication in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication specifications.

Your role

As a Welder, you play a vital role in our production process by performing high-quality welding and fabrication work that supports the assembly of industrial compressor packages. Your expertise in welding, pipe fitting, and fabrication helps ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and precision. By joining our team, you will contribute to our commitment to engineering excellence and customer satisfaction. You will report to the Package Manufacturing Supervisor.

You will

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on carbon steel and stainless-steel components used in compressor package assembly.
• Fabricate and fit pipes, brackets, base assemblies, and other components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Inspect finished welds and assemblies to ensure they meet quality, structural, and dimensional requirements.
• Use welding equipment, measuring devices, hand tools, and fabrication equipment to support daily production activities.

Job location

Your job location for this role will be at our advanced manufacturing facility in Voorheesville, United States (US) and requires working onsite. The schedule for this role is 2nd Shift, Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM-1:30 AM.
