Base pay range

$22.23/hr - $27.32/hr

Position Details

Title: Welder / Fabricator - 2nd Shift

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

Direct Reports: Not Applicable

Position Summary: The welder/fabricator is responsible for repairs and maintenance to containers and company-owned property to meet customer and regulatory specifications. The position will be on the 2nd shift (3:00 - 11:30 PM).

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on containers and trucks
• Weld steel and aluminum components using MIG and ARC welding equipment
• Fabricate steel components using a brake and shear
• Cut steel using a plasma cutter or torch
• Fabricate steel components for hoppers, containers, and compactors
• Install lids and wheels on containers
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Complete required paperwork
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards and perform all work safely

Education and Experience

• Certified welder preferred
• 3-5 years welding experience
• Ability to operate a forklift; training can be provided
• Must be at least 18 years old
