Job summary

ALACRIANT, INC. is seeking a skilled welder with 1–3 years of fabrication experience to perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on steel, stainless, and aluminum.

You will read blueprints, set up equipment, and ensure weld quality while maintaining safety standards in a night shift environment in Streetsboro, Ohio. The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to work both independently and with a team, and a willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on welding experience in fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols
• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding; Stick welding is a plus
• AWS Certification preferred but not required
• High school diploma or GED; trade training a plus

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled welder with at least one year of experience in metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding processes, shop drawings, and safety practices. This role involves performing high-quality welds on various materials including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Position is Monday-Thursday night; 2:30pm-1:00am. OT as needed.

Shift differential of $3.00 per hour.

Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols
• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding as required
• Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components according to specifications
• Set up and operate welding equipment and fabrication machinery
• Inspect completed welds and structures to ensure quality and compliance
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines
• Follow all company safety guidelines and OSHA regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• Familiarity with grinders, torches, plasma cutters, and other tools

• High school diploma or GED required, trade school or vocational training a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. regularly
• Stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a shop environment with exposure to heat, sparks, and metal particles
