Job description

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLDdivision is currently seeking aWelder, 2nd Shift. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm. The rate for this position is$24.46per hour plus an additional $.50 per hour shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, and market and business considerations.

What you’ll do:

As a Welding Technician, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and welding symbols. You will also be part of Quality inspections and work in a cross-functional team of welders.

In this function, you will:

• Hand Weld
• Progressive Weld
• Auto MIG Weld

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered. (Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation).
• Previous Welding Experience or a Welding Certificate.
