Located in Wilder, KY, Andrews Laser Works manufactures metal brackets primarily for the aerospace industry. Using laser cutting, machining, forming, stamping, welding, and assembly processes, the company transforms sheet metal into complex, tight-tolerance brackets for aircraft engines. Job Description

Level One welders work under direct supervision to weld small assemblies, performing mostly corner welds in a limited number of weld types and positions. They are certified to 3G and hold internal certifications. The primary focus is on basic TIG (GTAW) welding, mostly on stainless steel.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic TIG welding operations, such as corner welds.
Required Skills:
  • Basic print reading
  • Basic shop math
Required Experience:
  • 0-1 year of experience
Level of Education:
  • GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.
