Job description

Company Description:

Crown Equipment Corporation is a leading innovator in world-class forklift and material handling equipment and technology. As one of the world’s largest lift truck manufacturers, we are committed to providing the customer with the safest, most efficient and ergonomic lift truck possible to lower their total cost of ownership.

Pay from over $28.00/hour toover $33.00/hour!

Plus earn an additional $1.50/hour for working 2nd or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

  • Use a Gas Metal Arc and Metal Core Arc welding process to weld parts to print specifications.
  • Inspect parts per print specifications.
  • Set up and adjust welder and fixtures to print specifications.
  • Use a carbon arc air gouging and cutting process for rework.
  • Use hand grinders to fit parts, rework defective welds, and grind welds flush as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read blueprints, use tape measure, understand weld symbols, basic math, reason and analyze.
  • Previous welding experience preferred.
