TrueNorth Steel in Lubbock, TX is seeking an experienced Welder to join our Game Changer team. The role involves mastering level 1 welding tasks, adhering to safety and quality standards, and performing semi-routine assignments with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years welding experience preferred.

Description

SHIFT: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 pm - 4:30 am (Fridays additional OT as required)

PAY RATE: $26.50 - $28.00+ per hour (Depending on Experience) + $2 shift differential pay + Full Benefits Package

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALITIES

• Exhibit knowledge of material identification, equipment utilization and welding equipment set-up and maintenance
• Fits and welds subassemblies into final position with flat or horizontal welds
• Accurately measures to specified tolerances
• Performs flat and horizontal welding
• Advanced knowledge of weld symbols
• Basic oxy fuel and/or carbon arcing
• Able to final inspect welds
• Understand and follow oral and written directions
• Ability to read a tape measure (imperial and metric)
• Ability to work with others
• Ability to work safely and accurately
• Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• 3-5+ year(s) of welding experience preferred.
