This is a 1st Shift position: Mon-Thurs, 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

What You Will Do:
  • Proficiently performs the various operations in the welding standard work loops in the Finish End business unit. Maintains required welding certifications.
  • Performs non-production welding tasks, such as laser weld and tack weld.
  • Works from operation sheets, drawings, verbal, and other pertinent instructions to obtain specified equipment, tools, and gages to weld parts, check work, and record results.
  • Use a variety of fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results.
  • Recognize indications of weld results which vary from specified part quality and take action to correct deficiencies in weld geometry.
  • Perform routine servicing throughout the assigned area following specified procedures and written instructions such as operator’s checklist for upkeep and to assure equipment operates properly.
  • Refer difficulties to Team Lead and/or Supervisor.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • HS Diploma/GED
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • 1 or ore years GTAW (TIG) Welding experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • 2-3 years of GTAW(TIG) Welding experience
  • Associate’s degree in welding.
