Davita Inc. seeks a Welder to join their team in Carson, California. The Welder is responsible for welding various materials associated with the company's product lines, ensuring quality and safety in each joint. Candidates must possess a strong attention to detail and be proficient in relevant welding tools. not limited to, truck bodies, chassis, and specialty vehicles.
Essential
Duties & Responsibilities
Master all duties related to Welder-1 Level.
Able to fix order that have quality flaws such as doors, floors, lids, tailgates, platforms, etc.
Should be accustomed to working with electro galvanized material (10 GA to 20 GA).
Should be accustomed to working with Galvanized sheet metal, 10 GA to 1/2"tubing.
Should have at least 4+ years working as a Welder
Truck body experience preferred.
Ability to make full body assemblies unsupervised.
Conduct physical inspections to assess the strength and stability of each joint.
Display proficiency in hand tools such as rivet guns, electric tools, pressure gauges, etc.
Ability to understand measurement on tape measure to 1/64'
Knowledge of sheet metal (gauges)
HS Diploma or GED required
AWS Certification preferred
Strong and consistent attention to detail
Self-motivated with the ability to stay on task
Team oriented
Must understand AWS welding symbols
Must be able to set up, adjust, and maintain welding machines
Willing to:
Learn and rotate within various weld areas
Wear PPE respirators for an extended amount of time
Improve self/area/company (including pursuing additional training, if needed)
Able to work overtime on short notice

Ability to routinely bend, squat, and kneel
Ability to walk, stand or sit for prolonged periods
Ability to repetitively grasp
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
