Position Overview

Welders are responsible for various welding tasks, including MIG welding on stainless and carbon steel, weld finishing, and robotic welding, following customer drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Proficient in welding techniques, including robotic welding.
  • Use of conventional and precision measuring instruments.
  • Process inspection, certification, and documentation.
  • Maintenance of welding equipment.
  • Finish grinding using manual and power tools.
Qualifications
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and weld requirements.
  • Knowledge of wire and filler material applications for various metals.
  • Understanding of fixture and weld setup parameters (amps, volts, etc.).
