Job summary

Exmark, located in Beatrice, Nebraska, a division of The Toro Company, is seeking a welder for 1st shift. Responsibilities include reading project plans, selecting weld jigs, and performing MIG tack and seam welds on outdoor power equipment.

The role requires following standard work and procedures with basic tool experience; benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, and paid time off. Starting pay is $22.24 per hour.

• Some technical knowledge and ability to follow standard work and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams.
• Select appropriate weld jig, positions and secure parts in weld jig by loading parts by hand or by hoist.
• Perform MIG tack welds and seam welds based on project needs.
• Set up welding cells for production runs.
• Buff welded surfaces and inspect to ensure quality standards.

What Will You Do?

Perform and complete welding duties and responsibilities on a variety of different types of outdoor power equipment. In order to grow and build a successful career with Exmark, you will be responsible for: Reading and interpreting project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand. Selecting appropriate weld jig, positions and secures piece parts in weld jig by loading parts by hand or by hoist. Performing MIG tack welds and seam welds based on project needs Setting up welding cells for production runs. Buffing and inspecting welded surfaces to ensure quality standards are met.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Some technical knowledge and ability to follow standard work and procedures. Experience in using power tools helpful.
