Shift Overview

• 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, four 10-hour days, with overtime at end of shift, on Fridays, and occasionally Saturdays

Job Summary

As a Welder, you will assemble parts, set up for welding, and perform welding tasks including sheet metal welding. Reading blueprints and maintaining a safe environment are essential.

Essential Functions

• Communicate for safety
• Follow instructions and review work orders/blueprints
• Set up parts, weld, grind, drill, and assemble
• Operate tools and equipment, lift parts, and work safely

Marginal Work Functions

• Install components, participate in rotations, assist training

Qualifications

• 1+ years relevant experience or High School Diploma
• Previous welding experience; ability to obtain a welding certificate

Preferred

• Associate's degree or Certified Welder; prior experience at Pierce

Key Abilities

• Ability to perform essential functions with/without accommodations
• Strong communication, safety awareness, physical capability to lift up to 80 lbs, and operate equipment safely
