Job summary

A leading manufacturing company is looking for Welders for various shifts. This role requires individuals with different levels of experience in welding, including MIG, Stick, and TIG welding. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring safety regulations are followed.

Qualifications

  • Basic welding training or experience required for Welder I.
  • 1 year production welding experience for Welder II.
  • 2 years production welding experience for Welder III.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with safety rules and follow procedures.
  • Operate and maintain Welding equipment.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

Skills

Understanding of welding fundamentals
Basic welding experience
Ability to follow directions
Teamwork

Education

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM; Sunday overtime based on business needs

Starting Wage:
Welder I - $21.25/hr
Welder II - $25.50/hr

Responsibilities
Welder I
  • Comply with safety rules
  • Operate equipment safely and effectively
  • Support different products and areas
  • Train new or learning employees
  • Follow procedures and policies
  • Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Assist with robotic welder
  • Additional duties as assigned
Welder II
  • All Welder I responsibilities
  • Intermediate MIG and Stick welding
  • Troubleshoot welding issues
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment
Welder III
  • All Welder I & II responsibilities
  • Knowledge of aluminum alloys and welding processes
  • Proficient in TIG welding
  • Weld complex components with various techniques
  • Operate robotic welder
Requirements
Welder I
  • High school diploma or certification
  • Internal weld test
  • Understanding of welding fundamentals
  • Basic welding experience or training
  • Knowledge of MIG equipment
  • Ability to follow directions and work in a team
Welder II
  • 1 year production welding experience and successful weld test
  • Working towards apprenticeship or certification
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Basic knowledge of MIG and TIG
  • Crane certification
Welder III
  • 2 years production welding experience and successful weld test
  • Experience in root cause analysis
