Job Summary

The welder will weld various metals and fabricate parts to complete the production process.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Use standard industry tools and machinery.
• Knowledge of material types and gauge thickness.
• Prepare products for the next production step, checking for defects and cosmetic appearance.
• Report defective materials or quality issues.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to weld multiple materials and thicknesses.
• Follow established SOPs and work instructions.
• Basic math skills, including decimal to fraction conversions.
• Ability to set up machinery as required.
• Follow directions and work efficiently in a team environment.
• Read a tape measure accurately.
• Be detail-oriented and thorough.
• Self-motivated and able to complete paperwork accurately.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of MIG and/or TIG welding experience on aluminum or stainless steel.
• Welding certification is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking.
• Ability to bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
