Key Responsibilities and Purpose

The Fabrication Welder is responsible for producing metal fabricated parts and assemblies according to customer print specifications using standardized welding processes.

Additional Tasks
  • Operate MIG and/or TIG welding equipment proficiently
  • Weld components in various positions (flat, vertical, overhead)
  • Lay out, position, align, and secure parts using appropriate tools
  • Adjust welding parameters as needed to ensure quality
  • Inspect work for defects and measure parts to ensure compliance
  • Support safety, productivity, and on-time delivery standards
  • Report property or equipment damage immediately
  • Use inspection devices to verify parts according to plans
  • Select and utilize fixtures per process setup sheets
  • Read and interpret prints, tolerances, weld symbols, and instructions
Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
