Job description

Responsible for welding steel and aluminum components to assemble structural forms.

Layout, align, fit and weld fabricated steel and aluminum components.

Read and understand blueprints.

Strong attention to detail regarding alignment, dimensions, and general inspection.

Perform work involving close tolerances that require constant attention while making adjustments to perform properly.

  • Knowledge and technique of MIG welding.
  • Must have the ability to read a tape measure.
  • Ability to regularly move, twist, bend, and crouch while working.
  • Dependable with a good attendance record.
  • Mechanical aptitude.

  • Experience with a handheld plasma cutter is a plus.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required, with Vocational Training and/or Technical Education preferred.
