Position Title: Welder - 1st or 2nd Shift
Wage: $18.00 - $26.00/hour
Shift: 1st or 2nd
Hours: 5:00am - 3:30pm or 3:20pm - 1:20am (Monday - Thursday)
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Welders for a company in Oneida, WI. This position is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment using various welding techniques. Welder Responsibilities:
- Perform welding operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and welding symbols
- Measure and cut materials to specifications using tools such as saws and torches
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
- Set up welding machines and maintain proper settings
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment
- Assist with assembly, fabrication, and installation of metal components
Requirements for Welder:
- High school diploma or GED preferred; technical training in welding is a plus
- Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction setting
- Proficiency with welding equipment and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, etc.)
