Overview

Zenith Tech Inc., part of the Walbec Group, is looking for a Welder/Fabricator in our fabrication shop in Waukesha, WI. We are a family‑focused, progressive culture in the heavy and highway construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Weld and assemble metal components on heavy equipment projects.
• Perform general labor duties as needed.
• Access areas to be welded by climbing ladder if required.
• Use a disc grinder to smooth, weld, or grind parts prior to welding.
• Operate manual and automated equipment (training provided).

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Ability to tolerate variable weather conditions and work in dirty, dusty environments.
• Some welding experience on heavy equipment.
• Certified G1 or 1.5 preferred, or ability to obtain certification paid for by the company within 6 months.
• Willingness to perform other duties in the shop when welding work is not necessary.

Hours

Monday–Friday 6 am–3 pm, with possible overtime and occasional Saturdays.
