Do you take pride in precision welding and want your skills to directly support critical construction and equipment projects?Eaton Asphalt is currently seeking an experienced Welder.Welder Key Responsibilities:Perform MIG, TIG, and other welding techniques as required by the projectWeld components using manual or semi-automatic equipment in vertical, horizontal, or overhead positionsRead blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts and proceduresAlign and clamp pieces using tools such as calipers, rulers, and other measuring devicesSet up welding components, including cutting materials to specified measurementsOperate angle grinders and other tools to prepare parts for weldingChoose appropriate welding methods and equipment based on specificationsEnsure efficient use of materials and maintain project budget integrityFollow safety standards and consistently wear protective clothing and equipmentCore Skills and Competencies:Proficient in MIG, TIG, and positional weldingStrong ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and layout instructionsSkilled in the use of hand tools, grinders, measuring devices, and clamping equipmentKnowledge of applicable safety standards and practices in welding environmentsStrong attention to detail and precision in all aspects of weldingCapable of working independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and quality standardsWelder Qualifications:High school diploma/GED preferredProven experience as welderExperience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MIG, MMA etc.)Experience in using electrical or manual toolsEOE/M/F/Disabled/Veteran/DFSP
