Selectek in Verona, WI is seeking a Welder to fabricate and weld components for frames and small assemblies. You will work with customers, service personnel and engineers to assist with building, commissioning, facility acceptance testing and installation of equipment.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years of welding experience. You must read mechanical drawings, weld symbols, and production records, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Required: High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of work experience required. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude. Ability to work independently and to carry our assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. Ability to read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs. Ability to interpret specifications, schematics, job orders, and company policies and procedures for employees. Ability to inspect materials, products, and/or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. Mechanically inclined individual with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as with a team. Ability to multi-task and must be organized. Must be familiarity with manufacturing processes. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment, manually up to 50 lbs. Abrasive deburring and tumbling components.

Proactively identify and participate in process improvement activities to promote continuous improvement. Supports other facility related projects and initiatives as assigned.
Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety rules, regulations, and procedures. Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently and safely meeting federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with federal, state, and local standards.
Pay Range: $20/hr. - $28/hr.
