Ellwood Texas Forge Navasota has an immediate need for a welder. Join us! We are looking for the best—those who are not afraid to roll up their sleeves to grow with our organization. This job rotates between 1st and 2nd shift.

About the job:

• Perform MiG welding of dies by flooding or overlaying impressions and stick weld any undercuts.
• Gouge cracks and damaged surfaces from dies for patch welding and place them in the furnace using a crane.
• Troubleshoot MiG welding machines and perform routine maintenance.
• Operate crane and furnace safely; keep work areas clean.

General skills

• Proficiency in MiG welding
• Knowledge of steel alloys
• 1-2 years' experience or relevant education
• OSHA safety knowledge is a plus
• Ability to handle or operate objects, tools, and controls with hands
