Position Title: Welder Wage: $21.25-$23.90/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm

Welder Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding and occasional TIG welding on stainless steel tanks, components, and assemblies according to work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures
• Fabricate, assemble, and weld tank systems and related products to company and customer specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and production documentation to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly
• Verify fixtures, jigs, and components are properly aligned and positioned prior to welding
• Inspect welds and completed products for quality, appearance, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with specifications
• Ensure welds are leak-proof and capable of passing required pressure and quality testing
• Use measuring instruments and precision tools to verify dimensions and maintain product quality
• Perform grinding, smoothing, polishing, and finishing of stainless steel products to meet customer requirements
• Operate various hand tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
• Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Work efficiently to meet production schedules while maintaining high quality standards
• Collaborate with team members and assist in continuous improvement efforts throughout the manufacturing process
• Support training and development opportunities to further enhance welding and fabrication skills

Welder Requirements

• Previous manufacturing welding experience, preferably 6 months to 2 years in a production or fabrication environment
• Ability to perform quality welds that meet company standards, customer specifications, and production expectations
• Experience with MIG welding; experience with TIG welding and working with stainless steel, mild steel, or aluminum is a plus
• Ability to read basic blueprints, work instructions, measuring devices, and inspection tools to ensure accurate fabrication
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship
• Welding certifications are beneficial but not required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after training while also contributing to a team environment
• Willingness to learn new skills, accept coaching, and continue developing welding and fabrication abilities
• Reliable attendance, a positive work ethic, and a commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and frequently bend, reach, twist, stoop, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
