Allen's Pump & Rentals seeks a full-time Welder in Midland, TX to fabricate, repair and modify pump systems, frames and related components. The role requires reading blueprints and performing high-quality welds while supporting manufacturing, maintenance and repair activities.

You will collaborate with technicians and engineers, follow safety protocols, and maintain an organized shop environment. A HS diploma or equivalent and welding certification are preferred.

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Welder role is based in Midland TX. The Welder will fabricate, repair, and modify pump systems, frames, and related components using various welding processes and techniques. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, preparing and fitting materials, and performing high-quality welds to meet safety and performance standards. The role also involves inspecting finished work, making necessary adjustments, and collaborating with technicians and engineers to support manufacturing, maintenance, and repair activities. The Welder will follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized work area, and assist with general shop duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Welding and Arc Welding, with experience in industrial or fabrication environments.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in TIG Welding and MIG Welding for a variety of pump components and structural applications.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Materials, including metals and alloys commonly used in pump and construction systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety practices and proper use of tools and equipment.
• Experience using cutting, grinding, and fabrication tools, and operating in a shop or field setting.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in welding is preferred.
