Job Description:

The Welder welds new and repaired parts of various types of steel. The Welder will operate all welding and cutting equipment to include MIG and TIG welding operations in a manufacturing environment. They will operate machines set up by a Machinist to perform punching, drilling, sanding, sawing, milling, and other functions as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Ability to operate MIG and TIG welders
2. Ability to sit, stand, and walk up to 10 hours
3. Ability to bend and reach
4. Ability to lift/carry, and push/pull up to 65lbs
5. Ability to become forklift certified

Preferred:

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Minimum two years welding experience or training preferred
3. Previous production experience
4. Ability to use hand tools, soldering irons, and press equipment
5. Ability to read blueprints and work instructions and maintain accurate records
6. Team player who is self-motivated, and has ability to work with minimal supervision
7. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff

Compensation:

This position pays: $18.00-$21.39 (Actual pay will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience, and qualifications for the role.)
