Job summary

Manpower, Inc. in San Luis Obispo is seeking a TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team supporting ultra-high purity systems. You will perform precision welds and follow strict process controls in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of TIG welding with stainless steel, can interpret drawings, lift up to 50 lbs, and maintain safety and cleanliness on the shop floor. This full-time, second-shift role offers competitive hourly pay with a 10% shift differential and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of TIG welding experience with stainless steel.
• Ability to interpret drawings and instructions accurately.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks on components used in Ultra High Purity Systems, including tack welding, orbital welding, and lathe welding.
• Follow engineering drawings, specifications, and instructions to produce high-quality, precise welds.
• Utilize TIG welding, orbital welding, and lathe welding equipment to assemble tubing and fittings.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and work instructions.
• Participate in routine operations,maintaincleanliness, and support 6S responsibilities to ensure efficiency and safety.
