This full-time Welderposition is 100% on-site in Rock Falls, Illinois, and eligible for insurance benefits on the 1st day of the month following date of hire.
Welder for the fabrication team plays a critical role by performing precise and strong MIG and TIG weldments with standard fabrication techniques and according to appropriate bead size and other specifications while also prioritizing safety and quality excellence. This role takes and uses accurate measurements, reads and interprets blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.

Physical Demands: Constant standing with repetitious hand and finger movements to use and operate welding gun, hand and power tools, welding and brazing equipment, torches, and shields; detect, perceive, identify, observe, inspect, and assess welding processes; express and exchange information in-person. Constant moving/traversing and positioning self to reach overhead and at or below the shoulder; move and position objects up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment: Constantly works in manufacturing setting on the shop floor with exposure to fluctuating temperatures and noise levels at or above 100 decibels on average. Working on the shop floor requires safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear while welding on the shop floor requires additional personal protective equipment including, but not limited to welding helmet, gloves, flame-resistant clothing (i.e., welding jacket), and respiratory protection.
