Job summary

Cleland Site Prep, a CRH Company, is seeking a Welder for our heavy construction team in the Low Country of South Carolina. You will inspect, cut, prepare and weld parts used in heavy equipment, ensuring quality work.

Two years of prior welding experience, ability to lift 75 lbs, and adherence to safety rules are required. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within CRH.

Qualifications

• Follow company safety rules and regulations.

• Operate angle grinders, drills, saws and cutting torches to prepare parts.
• Weld components using manual and semi-automatic welding equipment.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures for flaws.

• Maintain accurate records of time, parts, and materials.
• Lift 75+ lbs. and climb onto equipment (3–4 ft).

Primary Functions Of The Welder

The Welder is responsible for inspecting, cutting, preparing and welding parts used in heavy construction equipment.

Main Responsibilities And Qualifications Of The Welder

• Able to follow company safety rules and regulations
• Minimum of 2 years prior experience
• Operate angle grinders, drills, saws, cutting torches, etc. to prepare parts
