Job summary

Aerotek in Pocahontas, IA is hiring a Welder to join a team focused on fiberglass products and composite materials.

You will weld with MIG/TIG on steel and aluminum, follow the production schedule, and maintain safety and quality. The 1st shift runs 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as required, and training with the safety manager on day one.

Work Environment

This position operates on the 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a shorter shift on Fridays from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Overtime is mandatory. You will work closely with the department supervisor in a facility with a distinct smell, emphasizing teamwork and cross-training. The work schedule includes two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch at 11:30 AM. On the first day, training will be conducted by the safety manager.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pocahontas, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
