Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Welder for an energy infrastructure client in Early, Texas. You will weld structural steel and fabricated components using MIG, Flux Core, and Stick processes, read blueprints, and ensure workmanship to spec.

We require 2+ years of welding experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass a weld test. Day shift, 6am–6pm, Monday through Friday with every-other Saturday. Competitive pay and safety‑driven team culture.

Job description

Our client, the energy infrastructure industry, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting fabrication and assembly of structural steel and metal components. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong work ethic, and safety consciousness, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Early, Texas

Pay Range: $25-$28

Shift: M-F 6am – 6pm every other Saturday

What's the Job?
  • Perform welding using GMAW (MIG), FCAW (Flux Core), and/or SMAW (Stick) processes.
  • Weld structural steel, plate steel, and fabricated components according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and weld symbols.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards.
What's Needed?
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or industrial environment.
  • Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
  • Experience using measuring devices including tape measures, squares, and gauges.
  • Ability to pass a weld test.
