Job summary

Tri-Arc Manufacturing in Blawnox, PA is seeking skilled MIG welders for 1st and 2nd shifts. Wages start at $25.33/hour on 1st shift and $25.93/hour on 2nd shift, with a $0.60/hour shift differential.

You will set up, operate, and tend welding machines, assemble and clamp components, and read job specs to determine material needs. The United Steelworkers Union may be joined after completing 520 probationary hours.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a welding test.
• Own welding gear required.
• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tend welding machines to join components and fabricate metal products and assemblies.
• Assemble, align, and clamp workpieces into holding fixtures for bonding, heat-treating, or soldering.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit components together, usually in fixtures.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure them in position for welding.
• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Set up equipment and weld parts using MIG welding equipment.
• Assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
• Operate punch presses, drill presses, shears, saws, and tube-bending equipment.
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.

• 1st Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, starting at $25.33/hour
• 2nd Shift: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm, starting at $25.93/hour (includes a $0.60/hour shift differential)
